In relation to an electronic record, unless the originator states that such electronic record shall be binding upon him only after receiving notice of receipt of such electronic record or compensation from the recipient, the originator shall within three days from the date of receipt of such electronic record receive from the recipient of the electronic record. The notification or compensation must have been received. However, in cases where it is accepted that an electronic record has been exchanged by mutual agreement between the originator and the recipient, the period according to this rule shall not be applicable.
